Parent, Family and Couple Therapy
We believe in the importance of involving parents, partners, siblings, and children when appropriate in the treatment process. We are aware that family members provide valuable input and wisdom to help in assessment and treatment planning. We also know that we can facilitate change more effectively and efficiently by working with systems, and by supporting and strengthening all members of a family or partnership.
Couple Therapy
- We help couples to cope with relationship stressors, transitions, and mental health issues. We support couples in strengthening their relationship through improving understanding, trust, vulnerability, intimacy, communication, conflict resolution, and forgiveness.
Parent Therapy and Coaching
- We work with parents to offer support, resources, strategies, and advice about parenting.
- We help parents to take care of themselves, cope with their emotions, and deal with their own mental health challenges so that they are able to parent their children more effectively.
- We help mothers cope with postpartum depression, anxiety, and stress.
- We offer education groups for parents of children, adolescents and young adults who have mental health issues.
Family Therapy
We facilitate family therapy with people of all ages to assist in communicating, problem-solving, setting boundaries, coping with stress, managing mental health issues, and relating more effectively together. We help families to be more understanding and compassionate with each other, and more dialectical in their responses with one another.
