Nicole Lancaster (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a Certified Music Therapist. Throughout Nicole’s graduate training, she focused on the use of music therapy in end-of-life care, with extensive work in inpatient oncology units and palliative care. Over the past couple of years, Nicole has been co-leading canoe expeditions in the Northwest Territories, Ontario, and Quebec for Inuit youth. These trips focus on building confidence and self-esteem in youth through challenging outdoor adventure and social-cultural exploration.
Using a trauma-informed approach, Nicole’s practice draws upon various therapeutic models including Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Music Psychotherapy, and strength-based approaches. She deeply values authenticity in her practice and approaches each session with curiosity, compassion, and a desire to understand each individual’s unique lived experience.

Nicole’s background is in music performance (classical harp) and she continues to perform throughout southern Ontario today. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys camping, road trips, making music, running, and spending time with friends and family.
