Meal Monitoring
Clients who struggle with eating disorders may require support during and after meal times in order to help them to eat their planned meal and to refrain from any compensatory behaviour following their meal. A meal coach will provide structure, offer validation and encouragement, and support clients in dealing with intense emotions, such as anxiety, disgust or shame, that might interfere with eating. Meal monitoring is available in person or virtually, and from once a week to five times daily.
