Jessica Ho

Jessica Ho (she/her) is in her third year of her Ph.D. program in School and Clinical Child Psychology at the University of Toronto (OISE). She received her Master’s degree in School and Clinical Child Psychology, also from the University of Toronto. Jessica’s research interests focus on the development and interpretation of culturally adapted assessments for students from diverse backgrounds.
Jessica has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and parents, providing comprehensive psychological assessments and therapy for a wide range of mental health and neurodevelopmental concerns, including emotional and behavioural regulation, mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, self-esteem and confidence, identity development, and learning differences. She has trained and worked within the Toronto District School Board (TDSB), the OISE Psychology Clinic, and multiple private psychology clinics, where she has also received training in health psychology.

Jessica is trained in evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), tailoring her approach to meet each child and family’s unique needs and goals. She utilizes a treatment philosophy that is client-centered, strengths-based, and culturally sensitive, with a style that is playful and compassionate. Jessica is committed to creating a safe and supportive space where young people and their families feel genuinely heard and understood.

Jessica works out of our Toronto clinic, providing psychological services for clients in the Toronto area.

In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her two cats and dog, exploring new restaurants, and going to the gym.
