Elizabeth has had the honour of spending the last several years providing psychotherapy to adolescents, adults and seniors in a private practice setting for a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, emotion regulation, family of origin issues, trauma, assertiveness, self-criticism/self-esteem, perfectionism, life transitions, and grief and loss. She approaches therapy with an empathic, reflective, and collaborative stance, integrating various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
Elizabeth is warm, patient, and non-judgemental. She deeply values building a trusting therapeutic relationship that nurtures safety, support, openness, and agency. It is her belief that the therapeutic relationship is central to change, and thus strives to continuously attend to and strengthen this relationship and create a space where all clients can feel understood and valued. Elizabeth hopes to support and help clients make meaningful changes in their lives, as well as expand awareness, self-acceptance, and emotional resilience.
Elizabeth provides services in English.
