Bruce (he/him) is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. He completed his Master’s of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) at Yorkville University and a diploma in Addiction Care work at McMaster University.
Bruce works with both individual adults and couples across a wide range of concerns, including feelings of being misaligned or stuck, anxiety, depression and substance use. Many of his clients are managing the challenges of balancing career, family and their own personal goals.
He has had extensive training in Cognitive Behaviour therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness-based interventions. His training to work with couples includes both the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT).
Prior to working as a psychotherapist, Bruce worked in the corporate world in a variety of marketing and market research-related roles.
Bruce works with a strong sense of open-mindedness, non-judgement and curiosity. He has a deep respect for a client’s personal experience, including their family of origin. Working in a collaborative style, Bruce helps clients achieve personal growth and move towards their personal goals.
Bruce provides psychotherapy services in English.
Outside of his therapeutic practice, Bruce takes an avid interest in the Toronto arts scene. He currently sings in the bass section of the Toronto Mendelsohn Choir and frequently performs with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
