Agustina Jorquera

M.Ed, RP
Registered Psychotherapist

Agustina (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour from McMaster University. Agustina then completed a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy at the University of Toronto. After practicing psychotherapy for approximately a decade, she decided to return to the University of Toronto and is currently completing a doctoral program (Ed.D) specializing in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy. She works with children, adolescents and adults. She provides group therapy, individual therapy, couples therapy, parent therapy and family therapy.

Agustina has had experience working in the field of mental health and addiction in different hospitals and private clinics throughout Southern Ontario treating adolescents, young adults and adults. During her time working throughout hospitals (in-patient and out-patient programs), she became experienced with DBT-informed treatment and was supervised by a DBT-adherent therapist. She then came to Broadview Psychology to practice the full comprehensive approach. Additionally, Agustina also has experience working with military and first responder populations diagnosed with PTSD. She mostly practices DBT and CBT with clients. Agustina practices these approaches through a relational lens – meaning that she prioritizes the relationship that emerges between therapist-client and uses it to help inform psychotherapeutic treatment.

Agustina provides individual, couples, and parent therapy in both English and Spanish.
When taking time away from doing therapy, Agustina spends time with her family and friends, having coffee in different parts of the city.
