Bruce Yungblut

Bruce (he/him) is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. He completed his Master’s of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) at Yorkville University and a diploma in Addiction Carework at McMaster University.

Bruce has experience working with adults on a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, substance use and addictive behaviours. He also works with clients who are experiencing significant change due to the challenges of mid-life or other notable life changes. He has had extensive training in Cognitive Behaviour therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness-based interventions.

Prior to working as a psychotherapist, Bruce worked in the corporate world in a variety of marketing and market research-related roles.

Bruce works with a strong sense of open-mindedness, non-judgement and curiosity. He has a deep respect for a client’s personal experience, including culture’s role. Working in a collaborative style, Bruce helps clients achieve personal growth and move towards their personal goals.

Bruce provides psychotherapy services in English.

Outside of his therapeutic practice, Bruce takes an avid interest in the Toronto arts scene. He currently sings in the bass section of the Toronto Mendelsohn Choir and frequently performs with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
