Christine Sloss (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience working with children, youth, parents, families, couples and adults. She treats clients struggling with mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, personality disorders (e.g. BPD), addictions, trauma, relationship issues, and family or parenting challenges.
Christine is competent in providing a range of treatments, including DBT, RO-DBT, CBT, and ACT for individuals, as well as EFT for couples and families. She has training in treating trauma using PE, DBT-PE and CPT. She is a certified clinician through the DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, and has extensive experience in providing DBT, and regularly provides trainings, workshops, supervision and consultation within DBT. She offers DBT services across the lifespan, and is trained and experienced in DBT-Child, DBT-Adolescent, as well as DBT for Adults.
In her work, Christine is compassionate and caring of her clients. She focuses on clients’ strengths and resilience, believes in them, and is dedicated to helping them live healthy and meaningful lives. She has a strong family focus and seeks to involve families, partners, or parents in treatment whenever relevant.
Christine relies on research to inform her work, and is able to adapt empirically validated treatments to the unique needs and responses of individual clients and families.
Christine attended DePaul University in Chicago (completed her Ph.D. in 2002), where she provided services to high risk and often marginalized children, youth, families and parents. After coming to Toronto, she worked for eight years at CAMH, in the BPD clinic, the Eating Disorder and Addiction clinic, the Family Addiction Service and the Child, Youth and Family Program. She has been in private practice since 2009 and founded Broadview Psychology.

Outside of work, Christine enjoys reading, attending concerts, hiking, canoeing and skiing, playing the piano, and hanging out with her dog, partner and three young adult children.
