Stouffville Clinic | English-speaking
Danicia Clarke (she/her) is a Practicum student and a Clinical and Administrative Assistant at Broadview Psychology. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from York University and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University. She has over 3 years of experience working in a leadership role in different settings with children and youth.
While being clinically supervised by Naiara Perin Darim (RP), Danicia’s approach as a therapist is informed through Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) where she integrates the principles of these modalities with young adolescent, young adult clients and their guardian(s). Danicia believes that ultimately, her clients are capable of succeeding and attaining any personal goal they have set for themselves. She brings a sense of collaboration and awareness into her sessions as she supports her clients non-judgementally. After completing her MACP degree, Danicia plans to become a registered Psychotherapist and work with children, youth and young adults. Her goal is to inspire and guide others to seek holistic healing as they navigate their own life challenges and transitions.
In her spare time, Danicia enjoys weightlifting, and spending time with family, friends and her dog, Milo.
