PROGRAM EVALUATION CONSULTANT
Vaunam (she/her) serves as the Program Evaluation Consultant at Broadview Psychology, where she and the program evaluation team are instrumental in monitoring treatment advancements for clients and their families. They compile empirically based measures that assist in examining change before, during, and after treatment, aiding clinicians and clients in treatment planning and progress monitoring.
Vaunam obtained her Ph.D. in 2022 and her M.A. in 2016 from the Developmental Psychology and Education program at the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from York University. Her research focuses on the scientific understanding of young children and explores pedagogical strategies that enhance science learning in various educational settings. Additionally, as a research scientist at Multi-Health Systems (MHS), she contributes to developing clinical tests and assessments for the diagnostic process. Her expertise and background drive her passion for utilizing research-based evidence to effect meaningful change and inform policy.
In her free time, Vaunam enjoys dancing. She teaches African dance and drumming workshops to students in schools and performs classical Indian and Bollywood dances with her sisters. Vaunam is also an avid sports fan.
