Maggie Stein

Maggie Stein is the Clinical and Administrative Assistant at Broadview Psychology. She has earned an honours BA.Sc in Psychology at the University of Guelph and a diploma of General Arts and Sciences from Humber College. As an active Research Assistant at the University of Guelph-Humber, Maggie has worked on a variety of research projects involving diverse topics in Psychology. Some of these research topics include Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), Mindfulness based practice, EEG functioning in sports performers, and Cultural Safety practices, specifically regarding therapeutic intervention for those who identify as Indigenous. Maggie enthusiastically seizes any opportunity to increase her knowledge within the field of mental health.At Broadview Psychology, Maggie currently co-facilitates several DBT and CBT skills groups ranging from Adolescents to Young Adults. Additionally, Maggie provides clients with one-on-one psychoeducational coaching, vocational services, and conducts exposure sessions with clients at Broadview while under the supervision of registered clinical psychologists.

Although most of Maggie’s spare time is spent focused on furthering her career in Clinical Psychology, outside of the clinic, she is either playing soccer, spending time with her husband and cats, cooking, or watching a variety of animal documentaries.
