Anna Francis, MSW
Registered Social Worker

Anna Francis is a Registered Social Worker who has worked as a clinical therapist in a variety of mental health settings, including outpatient mental health, forensic and inpatient treatment; and home-based services. Anna has experience providing assessment and evidence-based treatment to clients with a variety of therapeutic needs including mood and anxiety disorders; self-harm and suicidal behaviours; aggression and trauma. Anna has also supported clients with managing interpersonal relationships, parent-child dynamics and through life transitions. Anna obtained her Masters in Social Work in 2007 from the University of Toronto.

Anna is a genuine and compassionate therapist who works collaboratively with her clients to support them in developing confidence in achieving their goals. Where appropriate, Anna also engages with the client’s support system, including family and community providers to complement services.

Anna has training and experience providing Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT); Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT) and parenting support for children with mental health needs.

In her free time, Anna enjoys getting into the outdoors; taking road trips and spending time with family and friends.
